Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a video statement on Friday claiming the Israeli Air Force had 'destroyed 70 percent of Iran's steel production capacity' in recent days. He described the operation as progressing 'beyond the halfway point', framing the steel strikes as deliberately weakening the IRGC's ability to manufacture weapons. 'Together with our American friends, we continue to crush the terror regime in Iran. We are eliminating commanders, bombing bridges, bombing infrastructures,' Netanyahu said. Explosions were also heard in central Isfahan as strikes continued. Iran condemned the strikes as attacks on civilian industrial infrastructure, with its Foreign Ministry declaring a US-Israeli 'moral collapse' over the widening target set encompassing industry, education centres, and humanitarian facilities.
