A senior US defense official told reporters on April 10 that US military operations remained at a heightened alert posture but that all offensive actions against Iranian targets had been formally paused since the ceasefire announcement. US Navy vessels in the Gulf of Oman and Arabian Sea were maintaining active verification patrols and had detected no Iranian ballistic missile activity since April 8.
