Iran submits 10-point counter-peace proposal to US — demands end to all wars, US base removal, sanctions lifted
Iran has submitted a 10-point counter-peace proposal to the United States as Trump's 8PM ET deadline on the Strait of Hormuz approaches. The proposal demands: a permanent end to all wars including in Lebanon and Gaza; dismantling of all US bases in Gulf countries; lifting of all sanctions; and keeping Iran's nuclear program active for peaceful purposes. Iran also proposed reopening the Strait of Hormuz and charging a $2 million ship fee. The proposal was submitted as US-Israel attacks intensified on Kharg Island and other Iranian infrastructure.
