Bank Sepah major computer disruption prevents IRGC salary payments — combined force strikes missile launchers in Kamyaran and Farashband, IRGC 14th Division HQ in Esfahan

·Esfahan / Kamyaran / Farashband, Iran

Iran's Bank Sepah experienced a major computer network disruption on April 5 that reportedly prevented the bank from paying IRGC personnel and regime military officials. This is the second major disruption since the combined force struck a Bank Sepah building on March 11. Repeated disruptions threaten the regime's ability to pay military personnel, potentially exacerbating desertion challenges. Separately, the combined force struck a Haj Qassem missile launcher in Kamyaran (Kurdistan Province), a missile launcher inside a warehouse in Farashband (Fars Province), and the IRGC Ground Forces 14th Imam Hossein Division and Law Enforcement Command Provincial headquarters in Esfahan.

Bank Sepah Disruption: Iran's Bank Sepah experienced a major computer network disruption on April 5 that reportedly prevented the bank from paying IRGC personnel and regime military officials. Bank Sepah is responsible for paying IRGC and Artesh (regular army) personnel. The combined force previously struck a Bank Sepah building on March 11, which the bank said destroyed the building and disrupted in-person and online services. Repeated disruptions are notable because they could interfere with the regime's ability to pay military personnel, potentially exacerbating challenges with desertions. Missile Launcher Strikes: - Kamyaran, Kurdistan Province: An OSINT account and Kurdish media reported the combined force struck a missile launcher. A defense analyst stated the launcher appeared to be for a Haj Qassem missile, a medium-range ballistic missile with a maximum range of 1,400 km. - Farashband, Fars Province: An OSINT account and anti-regime media reported the combined force struck a missile launcher inside a warehouse. Esfahan Strikes: OSINT accounts reported the combined force struck the IRGC Ground Forces 14th Imam Hossein Division and the Law Enforcement Command (LEC) Provincial headquarters in Esfahan. The Imam Hossein Division operates under the Seyyed ol Shohada Operational Base in Esfahan, which was previously struck on March 8. The IDF is also continuing to target Iranian tunnel entrances to prevent Iranian forces from using tunnels to conceal missile sites. The head of the Israeli Air Intelligence Group stated on April 5 that Israel must expend 'large resources' to prevent Iranian forces from hiding in mountainous areas, noting that the IDF blocks tunnel entrances to prevent Iranian forces from entering or exiting.
