US strikes Isfahan munitions depot — Trump releases footage of Monday night attack

·Isfahan, Iran

US B-52 bombers struck an Iranian munitions depot in Isfahan on Monday night (D31), Defense Secretary Hegseth confirmed Tuesday at the Pentagon briefing. Trump released footage of the strike on Truth Social. Isfahan is home to multiple military-industrial and nuclear-adjacent facilities. The B-52 deployment confirms Iran's air defenses over the Isfahan region have been sufficiently degraded for strategic bombers to operate.

President Trump released footage of US strikes on an Iranian munitions depot in the city of Isfahan on Monday night (March 30, D31), Fox News reported Tuesday. The strike on a munitions depot aligns with Gen. Caine's statement at the Tuesday Pentagon presser that US warplanes are now focused on destroying supply chains feeding Iran's missile, drone, and shipbuilding facilities. Isfahan is Iran's third largest city and a major military-industrial hub. It is home to: the Isfahan Nuclear Technology Centre (INTC); the Isfahan Defense Industries (ID); the Khatam al-Anbiya Air Defense Base; and multiple missile/drone manufacturing facilities. The IDF separately struck the Arak Heavy Water Plant — a key plutonium production site — on Friday March 27 (D28). An IDF spokesperson told Fox News there is 'high estimation' that attacks on uranium enrichment sites are part of the plan, though enrichment facilities have not yet been publicly confirmed as struck. The Reuters- verified AFP-sourced video of 'large explosions and plumes of smoke in Isfahan' on March 31 (confirmed by Guardian) may be a continuation of the Isfahan campaign into D32.
