IDF strikes weapon factories and ballistic missile storage east of Tehran — western Iran launch sites degraded

The Israeli Air Force conducted two waves of airstrikes against Iranian military sites across Tehran and central Iran on Day 21 (Nowruz/Eid al-Fitr coinciding). The IDF confirmed the following targets: In Tehran: Several weapon factories struck, along with sites used to develop components for ballistic missiles. East of Tehran: Facilities where ballistic missiles were being stored — while Iranian soldiers were operating at those locations — were hit. Critically, the IDF stated: "In recent days it has identified that Iran is firing ballistic missiles at Israel from the center of the country, after the military 'degraded most of the regime's capabilities to launch from western Iran.'" This confirms an operational shift in the balance of the missile campaign: Iran's western-Iran launch capability has been substantially degraded, forcing IRGC to relocate launchers to central Iran — which takes longer to reach Israel (shorter warning time is a tradeoff), and is now being targeted in turn. The Day 21 strikes coincided with Nowruz (Iranian New Year) and Eid al-Fitr — strikes on both the holiest day of the Muslim calendar and the most important Iranian cultural holiday simultaneously. The IDF has now struck Tehran weapon factories, ballistic missile storage east of Tehran, the nuclear facilities at Fordow and Natanz (earlier in the war), and the Basij command structure.
