·Lebanon

IDF announced on March 14 it had eliminated Hisham Abd al-Karim Yassin, an IRGC commander who was working to rebuild Hezbollah's communications infrastructure destroyed during Israel's 2024 campaign. The Israel Defense Forces announced on Saturday March 14, 2026 (Day 15) that it had eliminated Hisham Abd al-Karim Yassin in a strike in Lebanon. According to the IDF, Yassin was an IRGC commander embedded with Hezbollah who 'worked to advance Iranian entrenchment in Lebanon.' He was a key commander in Hezbollah's communications wing, overseeing the development, maintenance, and use of communication systems — a capability Hezbollah is urgently trying to rebuild following Israel's 2024 campaign that destroyed much of its command-and-control infrastructure. Yassin was also involved in the Palestinian Corps of the IRGC Quds Force, extending Iranian reach into Palestinian militant networks. Yassin's elimination is part of a sustained Israeli targeting campaign against IRGC officers embedded with Hezbollah in Lebanon. Other recent kills include: Davoud Alizadeh (Quds Force Lebanon commander, killed in Tehran), Abouzar Mohammadi (Hezbollah missile unit coordinator), and five senior Quds Force commanders killed in a Beirut hotel strike.
