Iranian state broadcaster IRIB reported on Thursday March 12 that a 'precision-guided drone' had struck a tower in Dubai. Dubai's media office confirmed the incident, posting on X that authorities were responding to 'an incident involving a drone that fell on a building in the vicinity of Dubai Creek Harbour.' This marks a continuation of Iranian drone attacks on UAE civilian infrastructure, following the Day 12 incident where two drones were downed near Dubai International Airport injuring four people. The targeting of a building in a prominent commercial and residential area represents an escalation in Iran's willingness to strike UAE civilian targets directly.
