CENTCOM: 5,500+ targets struck in Iran, 60+ ships destroyed, entire Soleimani-class eliminated

·Iran / Persian Gulf

CENTCOM Adm. Cooper: 5,500+ targets struck inside Iran since Day 1. 60+ ships destroyed. Strike waves 'nearly every hour from different locations.' Heavy bombers hit large ballistic missile manufacturing facility last night. Last Soleimani-class warship destroyed — entire class out of fight. 'US combat power building, Iranian combat power declining.'

US Central Command chief Admiral Brad Cooper released a comprehensive operational update: 'US combat power is building, Iranian combat power is declining, and we remain centered on very clear military objectives in eliminating Iran's ability to project power against Americans and against its neighbors.' Cooper confirmed that the US has struck more than 5,500 targets inside Iran since the start of the war, using a variety of precision weapon systems, and destroyed more than 60 ships. 'Since the first 24 hours of this campaign, Iranian ballistic missile and drone attacks have dropped drastically,' Cooper said. He noted that strike waves were occurring 'nearly every hour from different locations and directions going into Iran' the previous day. Heavy bombers struck a large ballistic missile manufacturing facility in Iran overnight — a significant blow to Iran's ability to replenish its depleted launcher stockpile. Cooper also confirmed the destruction of the last of four Soleimani-class warships of the Iranian Navy, stating: 'That's an entire class of Iranian ships now out of the fight.' The Soleimani-class (formally the Moudge/Moudj-class corvette) represented Iran's most capable surface combatants — domestically built frigates armed with anti-ship missiles and advanced radar systems. Their complete elimination removes Iran's conventional naval capability for fleet engagements. The 5,500 target figure across 12 days averages approximately 458 targets per day — an extraordinary operational tempo representing one of the most intensive air campaigns in modern military history.
