IDF strikes command centers in Tehran AND Tabriz simultaneously — first Tabriz strikes of the war

·Tehran + Tabriz, Iran

IDF confirms a combined wave struck multiple Iranian regime headquarters in Tehran and Tabriz in parallel. First confirmed Israeli strikes on Tabriz. Targets: special forces HQ, IRGC compound, ballistic missile fire command HQ, Security Police HQ, Basij compound — all struck while Iranian soldiers were inside operating against Israel.

The IDF confirmed that during a combined strike wave completed on Day 11, the Israeli Air Force — guided by Military Intelligence — struck several key Iranian regime headquarters in Tehran and Tabriz simultaneously. This marks the first publicly confirmed Israeli strikes on Tabriz, Iran's fourth-largest city and a major IRGC logistics and command hub in northwestern Iran near the Turkish and Azerbaijani borders. Tabriz houses IRGC Northwestern Command, missile storage facilities, and air defense infrastructure. The IDF listed the following targets struck in the combined Tehran-Tabriz wave: (1) a headquarters of Iran's special forces; (2) an IRGC compound; (3) a headquarters of the security unit responsible for directing ballistic missile fire against Israel; (4) a headquarters of Iran's Security Police agency (responsible for internal repression); and (5) a Basij compound. The IDF stated explicitly that 'Iranian soldiers and security personnel were gathered at the headquarters when the strikes were conducted' — signalling deliberate targeting of personnel, not just infrastructure. 'The headquarters and compounds were struck while soldiers of the Iranian terror regime were operating inside them to advance terror activities against the State of Israel and other countries in the Middle East,' the military said. The IDF framed the strikes as part of a 'new stage of the war aimed at deepening the blow to the core arrays of the Iranian terror regime and its foundations.'
