Iran launches 35+ ballistic missiles at Israel; Tel Aviv and Jerusalem hit

At 08:45 UTC, Iran launched an initial barrage of approximately 35 Shahab-3, Emad, and Kheibar Shekan ballistic missiles from launchers in western and central Iran at Israeli population centers. Israel's Arrow-3 and Arrow-2 systems intercepted the majority of incoming missiles at high altitude. Iron Dome engaged shorter-range threats. However, several warheads penetrated Israeli defenses and struck: • Jerusalem: Three missiles struck residential neighborhoods near the Jerusalem suburb of Gilo. 7 confirmed killed, over 200 injured. • Tel Aviv: Two impacts in the Ramat Aviv and Kiryat Ono districts. 4 killed, 190+ injured. • Haifa: Iron Dome successfully intercepted all incoming missiles. • Eilat: Two missiles intercepted by Arrow-3.
