IDF kills Hezbollah operatives in south Lebanon as 146th Division pushes to Ras al-Bayada

IDF's 146th Division advanced to the Ras al-Bayada headland in western south Lebanon, 8km north of Israel's border, as part of the Lebanon security zone expansion ordered by PM Netanyahu. During the ground operations, two separate Hezbollah engagements were confirmed. In the first, the 869th Combat Intelligence Collection Unit identified several armed Hezbollah gunmen entering a building; an IAF drone directed by the unit struck and killed them. In the second, Givati Brigade soldiers (under Division 91 command) spotted Hezbollah operatives attempting to plant explosive devices and launch mortars at IDF troops; soldiers opened fire and eliminated the terrorists. The Givati forces also located a weapons cache containing dozens of anti-tank missiles, grenades, and other explosives. No IDF troops were injured in either incident.
