IDF Home Front Command extends wartime restrictions to Monday night — education banned, gatherings capped
·Israel (nationwide)
IDF Home Front Command extends current wartime restrictions through at least Monday night (March 30). Educational activities remain prohibited in most of Israel; gatherings capped at 50 (outdoors) and 100 (indoors) near shelters. Next assessment scheduled Monday 8 p.m. Reflects IDF's expectation of continued Iranian BM and drone threat over the weekend.
The IDF Home Front Command announced that wartime guidelines currently in force will be extended until at least Monday night. Educational institutions remain prohibited from operating in most parts of the country, with limited exceptions in parts of the north, south, and West Bank where adequate shelter can be reached in time. Gatherings are limited to 50 people outdoors and 100 people indoors under the same shelter conditions. The extension signals the IDF's assessment that the Iranian BM threat — which produced 6 distinct salvos on Day 29 alone including one confirmed hit (Eshtaol, 11 wounded) — will continue through the Shabbat/Sunday period. An updated assessment will be conducted Monday at 8 p.m. to determine whether restrictions can be lifted or must be extended further.
