IDF Staff Sgt. Ori Greenberg, 21, killed in Hezbollah gunfight in southern Lebanon — third soldier killed in offensive
Staff Sgt. Ori Greenberg, 21, of the Golani Brigade's Reconnaissance Unit from Petah Tikva, was killed during an exchange of fire with Hezbollah operatives in southern Lebanon at around 2 a.m. on 26 March. He is the third IDF soldier killed since the renewed ground offensive began. Another soldier was lightly wounded. Golani fighters killed several Hezbollah operatives in the clash and continued scanning the area for remaining gunmen.
