Two separate Hezbollah attacks on IDF forces in southern Lebanon on 25 March caused serious and light casualties. In the first, a Hezbollah mortar strike seriously wounded one IDF soldier and lightly injured an officer and two others. In a separate incident, a Hezbollah rocket seriously wounded an IDF reservist and lightly hurt a battalion commander and another soldier. All six were evacuated to hospital.
