Two Iranian ballistic missiles were launched toward the Riyadh region, the Saudi Ministry of Defense confirmed via the Saudi Press Agency. One was intercepted; the other fell in an uninhabited area. Actor responses
Iran has not publicly claimed the Riyadh attack separately from its Khatam al-Anbiya Prince Sultan statement. The Riyadh ballistic missile launch is consistent with IRGC's stated doctrine of striking Gulf capitals hosting US forces.
CENTCOM monitoring the Riyadh attack. No US statement specifically on this incident at time of reporting. Saudi Arabia is a key US partner with US forces at Prince Sultan Air Base.
