·Mina Al-Ahmadi, Kuwait

Kuwait's state oil firm KPC confirmed that Mina Al-Ahmadi refinery was hit by multiple drone attacks early Friday (Day 21), causing a fire in some units. Firefighters responded immediately and several units were shut down as a precaution to ensure worker safety. No initial casualties were reported. The refinery was also struck on Day 20, making this the second direct hit on Kuwait's main oil terminal in 24 hours.

Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) confirmed on Friday (Day 21) that Mina Al-Ahmadi refinery was struck by multiple Iranian drone attacks in the early morning hours, causing a fire in some units. Firefighters responded immediately and several units were shut down as a precaution to ensure workers' safety, Kuwait's state news agency (KUNA) reported. No initial casualties were reported. Mina Al-Ahmadi is Kuwait's main oil terminal and refinery complex on the Persian Gulf coast. It was also struck on Day 20 (Thursday, March 19) in a combined attack on both Mina Al-Ahmadi and Mina Abdullah refineries that caused fires and disrupted operations. The repeat Day 21 strike confirms Iran is continuing to target Kuwait's oil infrastructure despite Kuwaiti air defence interceptions. The attack is part of the broader Day 21 Iranian missile and drone wave against Gulf energy infrastructure, which also saw UAE and Bahrain air defence activations and Saudi Arabia intercepting a drone in its eastern region. Iran's IRGC has threatened 'total destruction of Gulf oil and gas facilities' if Iranian energy infrastructure is struck further by Israel.
