US Central Command confirmed all six crew members of the KC-135 aerial refuelling plane that crashed in western Iraq on March 12 have been killed. Earlier reporting said 4 of 6 were dead. CENTCOM confirmed the crash was not hostile fire. This is the fourth US aircraft lost since Feb 28. US KIA total: 13 (7 hostile action + 6 KC-135 crash). 150 US troops wounded. Iran death toll: 1,300+ per UN ambassador.

US Central Command issued an updated statement confirming that 4 of the 6 crew members aboard the KC-135 Stratotanker that crashed in western Iraq on March 12 have been killed. Two crew members remain missing with rescue and recovery efforts ongoing. CENTCOM reiterated the crash was 'not the result of hostile or friendly fire.' The KC-135 went down at approximately 2pm ET on March 12 during an Operation Epic Fury mission. A second KC-135 was involved but landed safely. The 4 confirmed deaths bring the total US service member death toll in the Iran conflict to at least 11 — 7 from hostile action and 4 from this non-combat crash. The War Zone (twz.com) reported CENTCOM's full statement: 'Four of six crew members on board the aircraft have been confirmed deceased as rescue efforts continue.'
