IDF airstrike kills 1 in Jnah, coastal Beirut — car targeted in residential neighborhood

·Jnah, Beirut, Lebanon

An Israeli airstrike in the coastal neighborhood of Jnah in central Beirut hit a car, killing one person, according to the Lebanese health ministry. Fresh IDF strikes on Beirut accompany the simultaneous wide-scale wave on Tehran, Shiraz, and Ahvaz. Lebanon's cumulative death toll has surpassed 634 killed and 1,586 wounded since March 2.

The Lebanese health ministry reported that an Israeli airstrike in the coastal neighborhood of Jnah in central Beirut struck a car, killing one person. Jnah is a mixed civilian and commercial area on the seafront of Beirut, south of downtown. The strike occurred during the same operational tempo as the IDF's simultaneous wide-scale wave on Tehran, Shiraz, and Ahvaz in Iran. A separate IDF strike in the eastern Lebanese village of Bar Elias wounded a local official of al-Jamaa al-Islamiya (the Islamic Group) and two others, according to Lebanon's state-run National News Agency. The dual-front tempo — Lebanon and Iran simultaneously — continues to be IDF's operational pattern throughout Day 14, putting air defense resources and first responders across two separate theaters under simultaneous pressure.
