Iran launched its fifth ballistic missile attack on Israel since midnight on Thursday March 12. The IDF detected the launch and sirens sounded across central Israel. A small number of missiles were launched, all intercepted according to initial military assessments. No injuries reported. Concurrently, Hezbollah launched rockets from Lebanon at northern Israel, with sirens sounding in Safed and surrounding Galilee towns. No injuries from that fire either. The IDF noted that Hezbollah is launching most attacks from deeper within southern Lebanon, not from close to the border. The concurrent Iran-Hezbollah timing continues the synchronized pattern from the joint operation.
