IDF ground troops push deeper into south Lebanon — overnight raid destroys Radwan Force sites

·South Lebanon

The IDF released bodycam footage of troops operating in southern Lebanon as part of its "enhanced forward defense posture." The 91st Galilee Division conducted an overnight raid, destroying Hezbollah Radwan Force infrastructure sites with artillery and airstrikes. The IDF says it has deployed troops deeper into southern Lebanon to "establish a forward defense creating an additional security layer for residents of the north."

The Israeli Defense Forces published bodycam footage on Thursday March 12 showing troops operating in southern Lebanon as part of what it describes as an "enhanced forward defense posture." The 91st Galilee Regional Division carried out an overnight raid in which Hezbollah Radwan Force infrastructure sites were destroyed using artillery and airstrikes. The IDF said it has deployed troops deeper into southern Lebanon, stating its aim is to "establish a forward defense that will create an additional security layer for the residents of the north." This represents a significant development — IDF ground forces are now operating further inside Lebanon than at the start of the conflict, consistent with Defense Minister Katz's earlier order to prepare for expanded operations and the expanded Zahrani River evacuation zone. The Radwan Force has been the focus of multiple IDF decapitation strikes this week.
