UAE: Iran fired 250+ ballistic missiles and 1,500 drones at UAE — 'treacherous' civilian targeting

·UAE / Abu Dhabi

UAE presidential adviser Anwar Gargash: Iran has fired over 250 ballistic missiles and 1,500 drones at the UAE during the war. 'Treacherous' attacks deliberately targeting civilian infrastructure, not US military bases as Iran claims. 'The numbers reveal a different truth.'

UAE presidential adviser Anwar Gargash revealed that Iran has fired over 250 ballistic missiles and 1,500 drones at the UAE during the current war — far higher figures than previously publicly confirmed. 'The Iranian aggression is lying when it claims to be targeting the American military bases in the Gulf, because the numbers of missiles and drones reveal a different truth,' Gargash wrote on X. 'The attacks strike civilian infrastructure and vital facilities without regard for civilians and the innocent,' he said, calling the attacks 'treacherous.' The disclosure of 250+ ballistic missiles and 1,500 drones fired at a single country (UAE) in 12 days is staggering — it represents roughly 20 ballistic missiles per day and 125 drones per day against UAE alone. Combined with Iran's missile salvos against Israel, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Iraq, Turkey, and Qatar, the total Iranian missile/drone output in 12 days is among the largest in modern warfare history. The UAE figures validate the scale of Iran's mass-fire doctrine and explain the pressure on UAE air defenses, which are backed by the US THAAD system and Patriot batteries.
