IDF kills Hezbollah operatives in drone strike — 36th Division raiding Rab al-Thalathine

·Rab al-Thalathine, southern Lebanon

IDF: 36th Division troops of 7th Armored Brigade conducting ongoing raid of Rab al-Thalathine. Identified Hezbollah operatives in building near forces — IAF drone eliminated them. Hezbollah weapons cache also found. Village target of earlier Radwan Force commander killings.

The IDF announced that troops of the 7th Armored Brigade, under the 36th Division, identified several Hezbollah operatives in a building near Israeli ground forces during an ongoing raid of the Rab al-Thalathine area in southern Lebanon. An Israeli Air Force drone struck and 'eliminated the terrorists.' The 36th Division's forces also located Hezbollah weapons during the raid. Rab al-Thalathine was the location where the IDF killed senior Radwan Force commanders on Day 11. The 7th Armored Brigade is one of the IDF's elite armored formations — its deployment to southern Lebanon for village raids signals the IDF is conducting combined arms operations: ground troops clearing Hezbollah strongholds while air assets provide close support. The weapons cache discovery is consistent with IDF intelligence showing Hezbollah pre-positioned weapons in Lebanese villages. The ongoing Rab al-Thalathine raid, combined with the Golani Brigade transfer to the Northern Command, suggests the IDF is in the early stages of a systematic village-clearing operation across southern Lebanon.
