Netanyahu: 'Breaking their bones — our arm is still outstretched' — regime change in Iranian people's hands

·Tel Aviv, Israel

PM Netanyahu visits National Health Emergency Operations Center. Says: 'Our aspiration is to bring the Iranian people to throw off the yoke of tyranny. But ultimately it depends on them.' Claims 'tremendous change' in Israel's global standing. Signals war will continue until regime collapses.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the National Health Emergency Operations Center late on Day 10 and delivered remarks defining Israel's war objectives. 'Our aspiration is to bring the Iranian people to throw off the yoke of tyranny,' Netanyahu said. 'Ultimately it depends on them. But there is no doubt that through the actions taken so far we are breaking their bones — and our arm is still outstretched.' Netanyahu's 'breaking bones' language goes beyond the stated objective of destroying Iran's nuclear program and degrading its military. It is an explicit call for regime change — linking Israeli military action to a popular uprising he hopes will follow. He said there is already a 'tremendous change' in Israel's standing in the world as a result of the war's success so far. 'If we succeed together with the Iranian people, we will bring about a permanent end — if such things exist in the life of nations — and we will bring about change.' The remarks came as the IDF was preparing its second Tehran strike wave and as Hezbollah struck the IDF Home Front Command HQ in Ramle. Netanyahu's framing — Iran's fate is in the hands of its people — is a strategic communication aimed at domestic Iranian audiences as much as the international community.
