IDF operational summary: dozens of Hezbollah drones intercepted, launch sites south of Litani struck

·South Lebanon

IDF publishes Day 10 operational summary: dozens of Hezbollah drones intercepted by jets, helicopters and ground systems. Dozens of rocket and missile launchers struck south of the Litani River. IDF notes Hezbollah adapting — now launching from deeper within southern Lebanon.

The IDF published a Day 10 operational summary of its ongoing campaign against Hezbollah. The Air Force has intercepted dozens of Hezbollah UAVs over recent days using a combination of fighter jets, helicopters, and ground-based air defense systems — video footage was published showing all three intercept types. In retaliation for Hezbollah's rocket fire into Israel, the IDF completed additional strike waves in Lebanon, destroying dozens of Hezbollah rocket and missile launchers. All the struck launchers were located south of the Litani River. A key tactical observation from the IDF: Hezbollah is increasingly launching its rockets and missiles from deeper within southern Lebanon — moving its launch positions further north away from the border, likely to avoid IDF counter-battery strikes. This adaptation increases Iran-supplied rocket range required per attack but provides Hezbollah's launch teams greater survivability.
