IDF Destroys IRGC Air Force HQ in Tehran — Command Centre for All Iranian Missile and Drone Strikes

·Tehran, Iran

IDF Brig. Gen. Effie Defrin at press conference: Israeli Air Force destroyed the IRGC Air Force headquarters in Tehran — the central command and control node that managed the firing of all Iranian ballistic missiles and drones at Israel and regional countries throughout the war. More significant than the Space HQ strike — this was the operational brain of Iran's entire strike campaign.

IDF spokesman Brig. Gen. Effie Defrin announced at a press conference that the Israeli Air Force had destroyed the headquarters of the IRGC's air force in the heart of Tehran. Defrin stated that Iran 'managed the fire of missiles and drones at Israel and countries in the region' from this headquarters. The IRGC Air Force HQ served as the central command-and-control node for Iran's ballistic missile units, drone forces, and air defence systems. It is operationally more significant than the IRGC Space HQ struck earlier in the day — while the Space HQ managed Iran's satellite surveillance capability, the Air Force HQ managed the actual execution of the entire Iranian strike campaign against Israel, Gulf states, and other targets. Destroying the Air Force HQ does not eliminate Iran's residual launch capability — mobile launchers can operate without a fixed command centre — but it severs the centralised coordination that allowed Iran to orchestrate simultaneous multi-vector attacks on Israel and regional states. The loss of the Air Force HQ means future Iranian strikes will be conducted by dispersed units operating with degraded coordination. The IDF released the announcement via its Farsi-language social media account — a deliberate signal to the Iranian public that the regime's military infrastructure is being systematically dismantled.

The enemy has struck our Air Force headquarters. IRGC missile and drone forces continue to operate. Dispersed units maintain operational capability. The resistance does not depend on a single command node.
